Abortion

Abortion

As my last ultrasound is approaching next week for our twins, I’ve been encouraged to share on the controversial topic of abortion. Throughout this high risk pregnancy, I've had to have an ultrasound almost every week. And while I’ve been grateful to see my babies, it has also weighed on my heart and made me feel uneasy because I think of all the stuff going on in our society I’m seeing on a daily basis that is absolutely foolish and deceitful when it comes to babies in utero. Think of me lying on the table watching two babies inside me interact with one another: patting each other on the head, sucking their thumbs, and doing things that babies do all while hearing the lies that our society is feeding women hourly right now in our feeds and on our phones & tvs. If any of them could come to an ultrasound with me and see it for themselves- maybe they’d see that dismembering a human while not a perfect situation, is straight from the pit of helI. We saw our babies hearts beating at less than 6 weeks. We saw them kicking and their limbs a few weeks later. We heard really bad risks & then very frightening news that ended up turning around with prayer.

The lies people are told about healthcare are so far  from the truth and the ridiculous scenarios of .000002% of things that could happen to people are honestly ridiculous. It's like saying we should all vote a certain way because my mother might get chopped up by serial killer or my 10 year old might get raped and pregnant. While there is evil in this dark dark world, these don’t account for abortions we’re seeing. And not to mention there are exceptions in most state legislation for those things, even though I don’t agree with them because I believe we should not murder an innocent child in any circumstance. I urge people to to be wise in this hour. Many movie stars, doctors, news stations, some confused churches- even places I would’ve in the past called good sources are flat out lying. Let me give you an example. They come at you with “first hand accounts.” I’ve seen articles and videos of women saying they won’t be treated for an ectopic pregnancy rupture. That’s 100% false & the hospital would be sued to oblivion because a woman would die right there on the table. That’s the opposite of pro life. You have to use discernment and realize what is a lie and what is not. I truly don’t know how they are getting away with the sick falsities they are spewing. And why are people actually believing this??? Call the dang hospital yourself. Say hey i have an ectopic rupture or hi I’ve had a miscarriage and need a d&c (a d&c is not an abortion- the baby is not alive), will you be able to help me? Then let’s talk. Stop believing the lies. Even very brilliant people are believing them!

Another argument I keep hearing is that dismembering a child in utero is mercy- it is absolutely not mercy. It is the opposite of mercy. I am so far from perfect and I cannot imagine that somebody would dismember me because of all the things that are wrong with me or could be wrong with me in the future. I could just as easily get a neurological disease or lose my limbs. We do not have crystal balls to see the future of an imperfect child or person. What exactly is perfect? Do you know anyone who is perfect or can you say their life will always be perfect? Let's not to mention all the times where miracles have come into affect in utero or out of utero and information has been completely wrong too. You aren't saving somebody from a life you might consider hard, you're not giving them a fighting chance. And who are we to say one life is better than another? Some of the saddest people I know are the people society would consider the most blessed.

Moving on- the argument that I can't get really well anybody to answer is—even if there is an insane life or death circumstance going on with the mother or the baby (let's give that crazy percentage a chance here)  and bring it life and say that that a horrible situation did arise (even though can’t find any doctors that have even come across much if any in their careers, but since our society is using it, I’ll play) and they needed the baby to come out—- because we are pro life we believe in the mother’s life too, you would induce labor or if you would do a c-section if it were truly life or death for either of them and try to save them. Remember, this day and age a 21 week old baby can actually survive and recently they’ve seen this happen in earlier gestation, so why would you not chance the baby living and the mother living??? I don't understand this and no one can seem to answer it!! The baby has to come out regardless— why on earth would you want to kill it first and make sure it's dead??? Again, it’s coming out anyway. It makes virtually no sense & is pure evil. One last time—stop and think about it right this second—— the baby has to come out regardless, why murder it first? Killing it is not a favor!! Please give me your arguments here. If you had a grown child that received a terrible diagnosis, would you be like yep go ahead and dismember? Or if you as the parents came down with a terrible diagnosis that would almost certainly affect your child’s quality of life, would you say well we should probably just dismember the child too  and not see how this all shakes out? This is a lack of faith issue and Satan is loving every second of it.

The second argument that arises is the incest or  rape issue and people are VERY opinionated about this one- even though most all bills have exceptions for this.  I personally don’t agree with them & feel two wrongs do not make a right - the person that is a victim is innocent and on all charges. If one of your parents becomes or is a serial killer, it is not a death sentence to you. Many people in this world didn’t get here or end up in a great parental situation, but we don’t have to take the responsibility for sick sick evil people—- we punish the sick evil people. There's virtually no argument that I could ever possibly come up with that would make pulling the limbs off of an innocent baby in the womb and make it right— I truly feel like our society is being brainwashed and it is disgusting & sad.  They tell you we’re the Hitler’s yet this is about as Hitler as you get. Remember, his whole reason was to get rid of people he considered imperfect or disabled. I do believe in medical freedom and women’s rights, but killing a baby is neither of these things. Don’t be fooled. Have eyes to see and ears to hear.

I can honestly go on about this all day and give you 40 more arguments. It  pains me that our society doesn't talk about the women who were affected by decisions they've made in the past and we aren’t offering more support & teaching them about God's grace if they’ve listened to the lies and have had an abortion and are struggling. Instead we are cheering on evil. We can sure seem to talk about that depression and suicide from trans people, but we never hear about the chains people are in when they’ve made this “choice.” If anyone is living this, I can offer resources from my church- please reach out. You can find freedom in Christ.

In conclusion, before you jump on board with lies by our society, every tV show right now, news political arguments—- think about what you know to be true. Don’t get duped into thinking evil is good and good is evil. Don’t let them try to con you into saying it’s women’s rights or healthcare. God forgive us. Our country needs You, Your grace, Your word.

Twins Announcement

I’ll start by saying i never dreamed we’d be so blessed to raise 4 children. The shock factor is still there even as I type it. I’m going, “God, you sure about this?!” I’m thinking of 100 reasons I’m not good enough for this, but I’m trusting Him WITH IT ALL. I’ve had so many questions about how we found out etc., so I’ll try to answer as many as I can and try not to make this a novel. This news has put several topics to discuss on my heart: new life, listening to God’s voice, and God’s will.

One of my good friends and I were discussing how miraculous new life is. It seems to always come at the most interesting times. The truth is, the past several years have been a dark time in many of my close friend’s lives. I walked along side them through miscarriages, horrible diagnoses, and the losses of a parent. Through the pain and intense grief, I’ve seen our Heavenly Father SHOW UP. He has left me speechless on so many occasions where I’ve seen the strength and peace that ONLY HE CAN GIVE, through my friends. I can only pray He can use me like this during trials. I’ve seen Him hold them in His hand and continue to. He shows me His goodness through them even during the most earth shattering times they are always pointing me to His never ending love for us. These recent experiences remind me just how short life on this earth is & has my heart exploding with gratitude that we’ve been given eternal life through his son Jesus. I cannot wait for the day I’ll be worshipping along side many of those I mentioned before in heaven. It has also left me shaken on how people could ever walk through those horrific trails without Him. I cannot even and don’t want to think of the  brokenness, anxiety, anger, and utter misery people are bound by and continue to suffer in. It pains me that people would willing choose to not accept His free gift. These verses about life have been on my heart:

Ecclesiastes 3:1-22 ESV

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; ...

Romans 6:23 ESV

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John 16:33 ESV

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

To continue, before I found out I was pregnant at all, I had been learning about listening to God’s voice in a couple studies and my pastor happened to have been preaching on this topic too. (If you want me to send you the sermons, please reach out and I’d be happy to!) Anyhow, while I’m tuning in and listening & asking the Holy Spirit to teach me about listening, I heard God tell me twins. Now, it wasn’t like, “hey you are pregnant and going to have twins Madison”— it was just “twins.” So, I did the unchristian thing and convinced myself I was indeed crazy. Surely I’m not actually hearing the Lord speak twins to me. Even though, everything I was learning in scripture was teaching me this is a blessing and a promise from the Lord. Where was my faith? I know I’m not supposed to question the Lord, but as i laid in my bed, i said “Lord i hear you and I’m learning, but could you show me what you are saying.” (My study leader later reminded me this is okay & I can always ask the Lord for more faith.) That night I had the most vivid dream and in the dream I’m looking at two beautiful twins bundled up and I glanced up and saw a nurse wearing a name tag that said Lea. When I woke up, I did thank God, but do you think I wholeheartedly trusted?  No, I’m so terrible, (He is so patient with me) I was going well maybe those were someone else’s twins. I mean I was at the hospital, but I couldn’t see myself and I wasn’t holding them. And the nurse Lea— well one of my good friend’s sister’s name is Lea maybe I just saw her on instagram and her name was in my head. I did have this dream on my mind the entire next day and thought to write about it in my notes of my phone to timestamp it  (notice the date) incase my discernment wasn’t off like I thought maybe it was. I’ll show you a screenshot.

Fast forward several weeks and low and behold I’m pregnant.  So I definitely thought of the twins dream and remembered what God had promised, but I wasn’t about to tell anyone. My discernment was off remember? I also started noticing twins EVERYWHERE. Looking back I feel like that was totally the Lord preparing me in so many ways. When I much later told my husband and showed him the note in my phone he said gee thanks- it would’ve been nice to have a warning. 🤣

At my very first OB apt, I asked the doctor to check all my levels. Not bc of the twin dream, but because my progesterone had been low with one of my first two children. So he did and when I got the hcg results back, I thought hmm that seems high in the 1100s and this early?! I sent the levels without saying anything to some family members and friends thinking well I have a lot of loved ones in the medical field, I’ll see if anyone mentions the numbers. But they didn’t, so i thought well I’m no doctor— I guess they are normal. My doctor didn’t say they were elevated either. As you can see through my doubt/ unbelief I was still learning, but wanted to share these scriptures & remind you that our God is truly so patient and kind to us—- I didn’t deserve it. Not one bit!!!! And still He poured His knowledge out to me 😭😭😭. His voice is such a blessing.

John 10:27 ESV

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

Jeremiah 33:3 ESV

Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.

John 8:47 ESV

Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.”

John 16:13 ESV

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.

Weeks later, we go in for the first ultrasound and I say a prayer in my head on the way that was something like this, “Lord I honestly just want your will over my life— whatever you want me to do and whatever you think bc your plans have always proven so much better than mine. You are a good Father.”  See I was learning not to question Him. I learned this in a study- (He promised to be with me to the end of age- no matter what comes my way. Do we have to wonder if He can do it? No. Do we always understand why He does what he does? No. Many can’t admit that God is in control bc He is not working things out in their life like they want them worked out, but now I understand that His plan is better than ours.) Even if we don’t see it during this lifetime, it is!

To finish my story, Brock and I are sitting in the waiting room for the sonogram, I’m laughing bc there are literally twins on the news on tv. And I still have mentioned this to no one. We’re finally in the ultrasound room which had a nice big screen. Brock and I later discussed  that we could both see two babies on the screen and in our heads were going hmm I probably just don’t know what I’m looking at. Funny we both had these thoughts. Then the sweet ultrasound tech says, “so this is baby A.” Brock turned white as the tile floor and his jaw was lying on it. My demeanor was calm because after all the Lord did tell me this, but I’d be lying if I didn’t admit the shock was still there. It still is honestly. It has yet to go away. I’ve only added the emotions of thankfulness and a bit of panic (not even going to lie). How one earth does He think we can do it? I mean I know Brock can because he is awesome at all of his jobs, but Im not that together. I’m continuing to dive into His word for calmness and guidance. I relying on teams of prayer warriors, study partners & leaders, co- volunteers at church (my amazing community) to point me to His word for support. This is going to be a long journey and I can’t do it without His gift of the people He puts in our lives. I’m overwhelmed with thankfulness for each of you— and I know exactly who put you there!! Oh, how He cares for us so!

John 7:17 ESV

If anyone's will is to do God's will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority.

2 Peter 3:9 ESV

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

Ephesians 5:17 ESV

Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Psalm 119:105 ESV

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path

Isaiah 41:10 ESV

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand

1 Peter 5:7 ESV

Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

(Psalm 25:4–5)

Show me your ways, Lord,
    teach me your paths.
Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.

I wanted to end with a prayer, “Lord thank you for knitting these babies together and creating all of us to be your children. Thank you for your perfect love and plans for us. Thank you for sovereignty- your voice that guides us throughout our lives. Thank you for your instruction and your unchanging word. Your presence is undeniable. Lastly, thank you for your infinite wisdom and will for our lives. You are a good, good Father. In your son’s name, amen.”

Twin update- thank you prayer warriors!! The twins are measuring right on track. They are diamniotic-monochorionic and their heart rates this week were 167 & 170.  The doctor thinks they are identical, so this isn’t something that runs in family. It is one egg splitting. I’m feeling great and much better than my prior pregnancies. Brock and the kids are beyond excited. All the glory to our King!!!

Kids reaction- When we told them I was pregnant, i messed up bc i told them it was a gift & they unwrapped baby stuff. Berkeley was over the moon,  but Banks wanted to know where his toy was. We were cracking up and I totally set myself up for failure with that one 😂. Then when we told them it was twins, Banks said that Brock was going to have to change diapers too. Brock said nope, mom is changing double. 🤣🤣 We’re all ecstatic!

The Election

This might be long winded and all over the place, so I’m asking you to bear with me. Excuse my grammar. I have learned so much through this election lately that I’ve wanted to share:

If you know me pretty well you have probably received or have seen me post videos/ articles like these:

🙅🏼‍♀️🙅🏼‍♀️🙅🏼‍♀️🤢

https://m.youtube.com/watch?fbclid=IwAR0qQoFI_UcMpUiE3l_cbpu8y0TYb7kmURwvzw4R8_E5weEu8CNnMPtKJFs&feature=share&v=XOnD9U5UOBE

Or the article written by Biden’s choice for head of his Covid task force: ⚰️⚰️🙅🏼‍♀️

https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2014/10/why-i-hope-to-die-at-75/379329/

Typically I’d call it disgusting or demonic & I’d probably end up in arguments on the internet with people from high school or people I met at a bar in college 🤦🏼‍♀️. Well, I just wanted to say, I’m sorry. Politics had me overwhelmed a bit. I know this is a dark world and I know I’m just a temporary resident (all of us are 😊), but I love this country- I felt obliged to tell people and maybe combat them a little if they didn’t agree with me. 😬 So, I’ve been asking the Lord for help & clarity over the past few weeks and I wanted to share my questions and findings today:

#1)  The word “Shepherd” has been coming to my mind constantly over the past week & it has left me pondering, “How can I better point people to our Shepherd?”

So, last night I’m on a Women for Trump prayer call and it was like a light bulb turned on in my head. Instead of fighting the fight with information hoping to convince people—- that I probably have a 0% chance of convincing with my efforts- I can pray for them and love them instead. Yes, that also means praying for Joe, Kamala, that Covid leader that doesn’t want to make it past 75, Hollywood, internet friends— you get the point. We have a good good Father and we wants their souls too. I don’t know about you guys,  but I’m seeing all sorts of demonic stuff going on packaged in “unity” and “healing” but with separation & murder of the unborn 🤔🤔— that’s where my anxiety comes from. It leaves me going, what if they aren’t aware? Are they aware & they are truly that sick? Is it my job to tell them the devil is out to steal, kill, and destroy? But instead of trying to fight that spirit, I’m going to call it for what it is and pray for them in Jesus name bc He loves all people. He loves the unlovable and he wants us to too. No matter what you’ve done or what has happened to you, He adores you. He says we are wonderfully made, dearly loved, and precious in His sight. If we continue to fight everyone, how are we going to share the good news that we can be saved by the grace of God? How are we going to add to the Lord’s

herd, not the dark world’s?

#2) I’ve noticed all the pastors telling us to turn off the news. I recently did—— and you know what?! I’m much more full of joy and hope for our future and finally able to laugh at the spirit of fear. In the Bible, God takes the most impossible situations and turns them into good. Even my five year old keeps repeating, “He takes evil and turns it into good.” He does and He will! The word tells us to go to Him with prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, & let your requests be made known to God!

#3) the Bible is fun!! One of the leaders in one of my studies challenged me to a daily listening. You simply hit play on the Bible app on your phone (I do it in car-line or driving to & from school mainly.) I’ve been taken back! Listening is super interesting & things all come together in my daily life. I’ve picked up on so much I never knew by just reading & it is shocking how much God works on you as you listen. Call me absolutely crazy, but it leaves me excited for the times we are living in. We’re making history and we know the ending!! It is all good news!

#4) People are important. My preacher in Florida reminded me- “we are the body of Christ so it’s important to act like it.” Not saying we’re going to be half perfect— but maybe we could try not yell at people or curse them on keyboards.  I also listened to a sermon of my old pastor in Mississippi and he said, “the people are the church & we must be in community with those around us.” This one has REALLLYYYYYY overwhelmed me because I feel like with the separation of people lately- we speak to each other differently. We all know some of the things we say on the internet, we’d never say to someone’s face 😬. When we are in person, we are more understanding that people are all on different paths. (Some of you are reading with right now going, yea you are more silly and not this forward in person.)

I’m afraid in a world where we can get anything delivered in 2 hours, I lost my patience. I wanted to wack people with the Word on the internet and them be saved & that’s just not going to happen. My friend’s grandmother reminded me of the scripture where Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the light & nothing comes to the father except through me” One way. He is in control and his ways are higher than our ways. We have to have patience with ourselves, others, and with God. Sometimes you get an answer quickly, sometimes it’s no, and sometimes you must wait. We also have to be in community with actual people (who we learn from bc of their differences) instead of living on our phones or walking in and out of places like we’re hiding behind a mask. Romans 8:28 tells us: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Im making an effort to be confident in those words, have patience, and get more plugged into my church and community. So far, The Lord is still pruning me, but I’m loving it! And I’m beyond thankful. 🙏🏻

#5) One of my favorite authors & patriots reminded me the Bible says fear is a spirit. With that spirit running rampant in the world right now and being drilled in our heads in every direction we turn, we need to gently remind people that plague and death is nothing new here. A good way of doing that is to be the hands and feet of Jesus and ask what it is we can do for someone. That might mean just listening. (Im still becoming on this one too). We WERE intended to be near other  people and love one another. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

#6) Think about what you fill your mind with on a daily basis. Guys!! It took masks over the faces of all my tv characters in episodes to get me to unplug a bit. It took me seeing literal satanic things I never noticed prior on Star’s Instagrams to get me realize they are terribly imperfect just like us and their souls need to be prayed for instead of “liked” on the internet. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, don’t start looking for it— just be cognizant of what you are filling your mind with daily. And again, turn off the news. Even reading it, the verbiage right now is 🙅🏼‍♀️

#7) God is about to shock the world. We need to remain calm. If you aren’t feeling this—- start talking to Him. And that orange man (love him or hate his guts) he is being used by God. I read this  article and it explains what i’m saying about Trump

more clearly:

“Christianity is not reserved for the “worthy”, nor does God limit himself to the spiritually pious. The simple truth is we are all battered, bruised beggars at the doorstep of God’s mercy.  Romans 3:23 says:

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

God uses the imperfect. We can’t comprehend his never ending love for us.

Lastly, if you wouldn’t mind taking a pause to pray for our country with me, “Dear Lord, thank you for your teachings and your mercy. Thank you for allowing us to be citizens of a nation that that was founded “In God We Trust” & we pray for any lost people around us to find their identity in you- not the identities we’re told about in this world. We want to become wise disciples for your glory. ” In Jesus name, Amen. If you have any questions or comments you can dm me on Instagram: @mmadisonblue

God Bless America

——Here are verses you all have sent me relevant to this article and the election:

(Bible study sister)

God gave me these 3 verses regarding the outcome of this election as I read the word

Isa 54:7

But in the coming day no weapon formed against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and this is their vindication from me declares The Lord.

2 Chr 20:17

You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of The Lord on your behalf.

2 Chr 20:15

Do not be afraid, and do not be dismayed at those who come against you for the battle is not Yours but Gods!!

God never loses! This battle has already been won in the spiritual realm. We just have to wait for God to reveal this in the physical! Hallelujah!

(Friend’s 96 year old grandmother)

We were not given a spirit of fear, but power, love and a sound mind.

As Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me”

One way

(Friend’s Dad)

Jesus two most important Commandments were love; Love God with all your might and Love your Neighbor as you love Yourself.
