This might be long winded and all over the place, so I’m asking you to bear with me. Excuse my grammar. I have learned so much through this election lately that I’ve wanted to share:
If you know me pretty well you have probably received or have seen me post videos/ articles like these:
š š¼♀️š š¼♀️š š¼♀️š¤¢
Or the article written by Biden’s choice for head of his Covid task force: ⚰️⚰️š š¼♀️

Typically I’d call it disgusting or demonic & I’d probably end up in arguments on the internet with people from high school or people I met at a bar in college š¤¦š¼♀️. Well, I just wanted to say, I’m sorry. Politics had me overwhelmed a bit. I know this is a dark world and I know I’m just a temporary resident (all of us are š), but I love this country- I felt obliged to tell people and maybe combat them a little if they didn’t agree with me. š¬ So, I’ve been asking the Lord for help & clarity over the past few weeks and I wanted to share my questions and findings today:
#1) The word “Shepherd” has been coming to my mind constantly over the past week & it has left me pondering, “How can I better point people to our Shepherd?”
So, last night I’m on a Women for Trump prayer call and it was like a light bulb turned on in my head. Instead of fighting the fight with information hoping to convince people—- that I probably have a 0% chance of convincing with my efforts- I can pray for them and love them instead. Yes, that also means praying for Joe, Kamala, that Covid leader that doesn’t want to make it past 75, Hollywood, internet friends— you get the point. We have a good good Father and we wants their souls too. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m seeing all sorts of demonic stuff going on packaged in “unity” and “healing” but with separation & murder of the unborn š¤š¤— that’s where my anxiety comes from. It leaves me going, what if they aren’t aware? Are they aware & they are truly that sick? Is it my job to tell them the devil is out to steal, kill, and destroy? But instead of trying to fight that spirit, I’m going to call it for what it is and pray for them in Jesus name bc He loves all people. He loves the unlovable and he wants us to too. No matter what you’ve done or what has happened to you, He adores you. He says we are wonderfully made, dearly loved, and precious in His sight. If we continue to fight everyone, how are we going to share the good news that we can be saved by the grace of God? How are we going to add to the Lord’s
herd, not the dark world’s?
#2) I’ve noticed all the pastors telling us to turn off the news. I recently did—— and you know what?! I’m much more full of joy and hope for our future and finally able to laugh at the spirit of fear. In the Bible, God takes the most impossible situations and turns them into good. Even my five year old keeps repeating, “He takes evil and turns it into good.” He does and He will! The word tells us to go to Him with prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, & let your requests be made known to God!
#3) the Bible is fun!! One of the leaders in one of my studies challenged me to a daily listening. You simply hit play on the Bible app on your phone (I do it in car-line or driving to & from school mainly.) I’ve been taken back! Listening is super interesting & things all come together in my daily life. I’ve picked up on so much I never knew by just reading & it is shocking how much God works on you as you listen. Call me absolutely crazy, but it leaves me excited for the times we are living in. We’re making history and we know the ending!! It is all good news!
#4) People are important. My preacher in Florida reminded me- “we are the body of Christ so it’s important to act like it.” Not saying we’re going to be half perfect— but maybe we could try not yell at people or curse them on keyboards. I also listened to a sermon of my old pastor in Mississippi and he said, “the people are the church & we must be in community with those around us.” This one has REALLLYYYYYY overwhelmed me because I feel like with the separation of people lately- we speak to each other differently. We all know some of the things we say on the internet, we’d never say to someone’s face š¬. When we are in person, we are more understanding that people are all on different paths. (Some of you are reading with right now going, yea you are more silly and not this forward in person.)
I’m afraid in a world where we can get anything delivered in 2 hours, I lost my patience. I wanted to wack people with the Word on the internet and them be saved & that’s just not going to happen. My friend’s grandmother reminded me of the scripture where Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the light & nothing comes to the father except through me” One way. He is in control and his ways are higher than our ways. We have to have patience with ourselves, others, and with God. Sometimes you get an answer quickly, sometimes it’s no, and sometimes you must wait. We also have to be in community with actual people (who we learn from bc of their differences) instead of living on our phones or walking in and out of places like we’re hiding behind a mask. Romans 8:28 tells us: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Im making an effort to be confident in those words, have patience, and get more plugged into my church and community. So far, The Lord is still pruning me, but I’m loving it! And I’m beyond thankful. šš»
#5) One of my favorite authors & patriots reminded me the Bible says fear is a spirit. With that spirit running rampant in the world right now and being drilled in our heads in every direction we turn, we need to gently remind people that plague and death is nothing new here. A good way of doing that is to be the hands and feet of Jesus and ask what it is we can do for someone. That might mean just listening. (Im still becoming on this one too). We WERE intended to be near other people and love one another. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
#6) Think about what you fill your mind with on a daily basis. Guys!! It took masks over the faces of all my tv characters in episodes to get me to unplug a bit. It took me seeing literal satanic things I never noticed prior on Star’s Instagrams to get me realize they are terribly imperfect just like us and their souls need to be prayed for instead of “liked” on the internet. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, don’t start looking for it— just be cognizant of what you are filling your mind with daily. And again, turn off the news. Even reading it, the verbiage right now is š š¼♀️.
#7) God is about to shock the world. We need to remain calm. If you aren’t feeling this—- start talking to Him. And that orange man (love him or hate his guts) he is being used by God. I read this article and it explains what i’m saying about Trump
more clearly:
“Christianity is not reserved for the “worthy”, nor does God limit himself to the spiritually pious. The simple truth is we are all battered, bruised beggars at the doorstep of God’s mercy. Romans 3:23 says:
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
God uses the imperfect. We can’t comprehend his never ending love for us.
Lastly, if you wouldn’t mind taking a pause to pray for our country with me, “Dear Lord, thank you for your teachings and your mercy. Thank you for allowing us to be citizens of a nation that that was founded “In God We Trust” & we pray for any lost people around us to find their identity in you- not the identities we’re told about in this world. We want to become wise disciples for your glory. ” In Jesus name, Amen. If you have any questions or comments you can dm me on Instagram: @mmadisonblue

——Here are verses you all have sent me relevant to this article and the election:
(Bible study sister)
God gave me these 3 verses regarding the outcome of this election as I read the word
Isa 54:7
But in the coming day no weapon formed against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and this is their vindication from me declares The Lord.
2 Chr 20:17
You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of The Lord on your behalf.
2 Chr 20:15
Do not be afraid, and do not be dismayed at those who come against you for the battle is not Yours but Gods!!
God never loses! This battle has already been won in the spiritual realm. We just have to wait for God to reveal this in the physical! Hallelujah!
(Friend’s 96 year old grandmother)
We were not given a spirit of fear, but power, love and a sound mind.
As Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me”
One way
(Friend’s Dad)
Jesus two most important Commandments were love; Love God with all your might and Love your Neighbor as you love Yourself.
